November Recap

Oh. My. Gah! As some of you may or may not know, L'image Quotidienne was chosen as the blog of note this past Friday. It was so exciting and overwhelming to see so many new visitors to the site and I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for viewing and thank you for your very supportive and encouraging comments. So very thoughtful and lovely. I am trying to reply to people as quickly as I can so forgive me if I do not respond immediately. It's been a bit crazy on this end.
Well, I can't believe I am about to embark on my final month! It feels like I just started! So many portraits, so many people, so many stories. I rely so much on each person I meet to help me finish this project. And to all those who have participated thus far, I can't thank you enough. To the 31 strangers I have yet to encounter, I can't wait to meet you and take your portrait!
For now Happy Holidays to you all and please spend a little time with my November portraits. Check - them - out!

  1. Hi! I'm one of your new visitors who stumbled upon your site on the Blogs of Note. Little did I know that you are a photographer from San Francisco! I just wanted to let you know that your photos make me really happy. I adore San Francisco, so to see the scenery and the people from there is very comforting to me. You are also a very talented photographer; I love the idea of a portrait a day. Keep up the good work! :)

  6. Hey, I'm one of those peoples who has stumbled upon your blog on Blogger's Homepage.
I hope you don't mind, I got so much into your idea of taking a picture everyday that I wanted to do the same thing on my blog. Every post I upload a photo, I link your blog as my "inspiration source"
There are some questons on my mind about you, who you are, if you are a photographer, how this idea came up to you... I'm really fascinated!

(please, be lenient with the mistyping, It's been quite a long time I don't practice my english rs)

    =)

  10. I've just found you as well. I love the idea of doing this. I have a question, though--how do you approach people? Do you explain what you're doing? Do you give them a copy of the photo? Thanks for posting all of these people for us to admire.

  16. I love your blog! You take such amazing photos :D Like someone mentioned before, I also feel inspired to do the same thing, if you don't mind that is.
I was wondering what you're planning to do once this is over, continue on to 2010?
One other question, Was it hard to go up to random people and ask to take their picture? Were they random people?
    I guess that's two more questions...(^_^)
